Create a team

This guide shows how to create a new team. It is intended for users who want to group users and give them access to locations.

When should I use this guide?

  • You want to create a new team

  • You want to group multiple users

  • You want to give multiple users access to the same locations

Requirements

  • You are logged in to the app or web

  • You have administrator permissions

How to do it

In the app

Create a team

  1. Go to Menu (bottom right)

  2. Tap Teams

  3. Tap the plus button

  4. Enter a name for the team

  5. Tap Create

The team is now created.

Add users

  1. Tap the team

  2. Go to the Members tab

  3. Tap the plus button

  4. Search for a user or invite a new one

  5. Select users

  6. Tap Add users

Add places

  1. Tap the team

  2. Go to the Places tab

  3. Tap the plus button

  4. Select an existing place or create a new one

  5. Confirm

On the web

Create a team

  1. Go to Teams in the menu

  2. Click Create team

  3. Enter a name for the team

  4. Add users (optional)

  5. Click Create

The team is now created.

Add places

  1. Open the team

  2. Go to the Places tab

  3. Click the plus button

  4. Select an existing place

  5. Confirm

If it doesn’t work

  • Make sure you have administrator permissions

  • Make sure you have entered a name for the team

  • Make sure you saved the team

Tips!

  • You can always add or remove users later

  • Use teams to give multiple users access to locations at the same time

  • Use clear team names to simplify administration
