  • You want to organise equipment more efficiently

  • You want to filter and quickly find specific equipment

Requirements

  • You are logged in

  • You have access to a project

How it works

On the web

What are tags?
Tags are used to group and categorise equipment.
They make it easier to organise, find, and work with the right equipment in your project.

You can also use tags to filter and display a list of specific equipment.

Examples of how to use tags

  • Label equipment by location, for example “Floor 1”

  • Group equipment, for example “Drills”

  • Filter and display all items with a specific tag

  • Label equipment belonging to different parts of a project

How tags are used
Tags are connected to one or multiple items and can be:

  • Added when editing an item

  • Applied to multiple items at once

  • Removed when no longer needed

Filter using tags
You can use tags to quickly find the right equipment in the list.

  • Use filters in the list view

  • Select one or more tags

  • The list updates to show only matching items

Manage multiple items at once
You can work with tags on multiple items at the same time:

  • Select multiple items

  • Use Manage selected

  • Add or remove tags in one action

In the app

Use tags in the app
In the app, you can:

  • See which tags an item has

  • Add existing tags

  • Create new tags

  • Remove tags

If it doesn’t work

  • Make sure you have the correct permissions

  • Make sure you are in the correct project

  • Refresh the page if changes are not visible

Tips!

  • Use clear and consistent tag names

  • Avoid creating similar or duplicate tags

  • Use tags for structure, not notes

  • Combine tags and filters to quickly find equipment
