Report equipment as missing

This guide shows how to mark equipment as missing and how to mark it as found again. It is intended for users who want to track missing equipment in the system.

When should I use this guide?

  • Equipment is missing

  • You want to mark equipment as missing

  • You have found equipment that was previously reported missing

Requirements

  • You are logged into the system

  • You have access to the equipment

How to do it

In the app

  1. Go to the equipment

  2. Open the equipment card

  3. Make sure you are on the Overview tab

  4. Scroll down

  5. Tap Report missing

  6. Confirm by tapping Report missing again

Mark as found

  1. Go to the equipment

  2. Open the equipment card

  3. Tap Report found

On the web

  1. Go to the equipment

  2. Open the equipment card

  3. Click Report missing

  4. Confirm

Mark as found

  1. Go to the equipment

  2. Open the equipment card

  3. Click Report as found

If it doesn’t work

  • Check that you have the correct permissions

  • Make sure you are viewing the correct equipment

Tips!

  • Report missing equipment as soon as possible

  • Check the last known location

  • Mark equipment as found once it is recovered
