Test task reminder

This guide shows how to test that task reminders are working correctly. It is intended for users who want to ensure that push notifications and emails are sent as expected.

When should I use this guide?

  • You want to check that reminders are being sent

  • You have created a task but are unsure if notifications are working

  • You are an administrator or responsible for tasks

Requirements

  • You are logged into the system

  • You are an administrator or responsible for the task

  • At least one task has been created

How to do it

On the web

  1. Go to a task

    You can either:

    • navigate via the side menu Tasks, or

    • open a specific piece of equipment

  2. Click Test task reminder

When you run the test, the following is sent:

  • An email notification

  • (Push notification if the user has the app)

If it doesn’t work

  • Check that the app has permission to send push notifications

  • Make sure you are assigned as responsible or are an administrator

  • Verify that the email address is correct
