Before you book a return transport, you need to add a recipient for the respective rental company - where the booking request should be sent. Please note that you must be a project administrator to fill in the information.
1. Click on Project admin.
2. Go to the sub tab Transports.
3. Enter the Name and Email of the rental company you wish to return equipment to. Note: Infobric Equipment's recommendation is to check with the rental company first, e.g. that the email address is correct, before you send the request for a return transport.
Book a return transport
1. Mark the equipment you want to return
2. Click Manage selected
3. Click Book transport
4. Confirm the choice you made or change the number - then click Continue
5. Select pickup details
6. Select the desired date and time
7. Pickup location (if there is no pickup location created, you need to do it the first time).
8. If you have comments to the rental company, you can add it
9. Click on Book transport and your request will be sent to the rental company as pending confirmation. You can follow your return requests as well as booked transports on the page Transports that you find in the left side menu.
The request sent to the rental company contains all the necessary information that is needed. The rental company in turn gets the opportunity to confirm the booking or change the date or time themselves if it doesn't suit - regardless, you will receive an email when they have made their choice.
Change or cancel a return transport
1. Click on Transport
2. Click on the booking you want to change or cancel
3. Make your choice in the new window that opens up.
Add equipment to an existing return transport
1. Mark the equipment you want to add to the transport
2. Click Manage Selected
3. Click on Book transport
4. When you have confirmed the selection and clicked Continue, you will see the message "There are upcoming transports from this rental company. Select an existing or new booking from the drop-down menu."
5. Select an existing booking in the drop-down menu and click on Book transport
6. A new message is sent to the rental company that a change has been made and they need to confirm this (if the original booking has already been confirmed, they only need to confirm the change).
