All owned equipment can have a Home place and a Current place. The home place is the location where the equipment belongs and must be returned to. Current location is where the equipment is located right now.

As a company administrator, you can change both the home place and the current place on owned equipment in the company. Note that it is the Current place that must be changed for the equipment to move.

Move equipment

Equipment can be moved via two places in the admin view: under the Owned Equipment tab or under the location where the equipment is located.

Move equipment via Owned Equipment

1. Click the Owned tab under the Equipment heading on the left. Here is a list of all owned equipment in the company.

2. Under the heading Current places at the top of the page, it says which place the various items in the list belong to. Click on a current place to change it.

3. Select the new place. The selection is then saved automatically.

3. Under the heading Current place at the top of the page, it says which place the various items in the list belong to. Click on Current place to change it.

4. Select the new place. The selection is then saved automatically.

Move multiple items at once

It is also possible to move several articles at the same time.

1. Click the Owned tab under the Equipment heading on the left. Here is a list of all owned equipment in the company.

2. To select several articles at the same time, check the box on the left for items you want to move.

3. Then click on "Manage selected" which appears at the bottom of the page.

4. Click on Current place in the new window that opens up.

5. Then choose where the selected items should be moved and click Current place.

6. The items are now moved and you can close the window at the top right.

Filter by places and search for equipment

It is possible to filter on places to see which equipment is in which place.

You can also search directly for specific items to see their location.

See equipment in a place, equipment on loan, and equipment belonging to a certain place

All equipment that does not have the same Home place as Current place is loaned equipment. The equipment is on loan from the equipment's home place. The equipment is on loan to the current place of the equipment.

Based on a place, it is possible to see equipment that is there at the moment, loaned equipment and equipment that belongs to the place.

To see the equipment located at a place ("In place")

1. Select Project, Car, Container or Storehouse under the heading Places on the left in the menu.

2. Click on the current place. You will then go directly to the Equipment view and see all the equipment that is currently on site ("In place").

To view the equipment on loan from a place ("Lent")

2. Click on the current place. You will then go directly to the Equipment view.

3. Click on the "In place" menu at the top of the page.

4. Select "Lent" in the menu.

You will then see all items that have the current place as "Home place" but have a different "Current place".

To see the equipment belonging to a certain place:

1. Select Project, Car, Container or Storehouse under the heading Places on the left in the menu.

2. Click on the current place. You will then go directly to the Equipment view.

3. Click on the "In place" menu at the top of the page.
