Equipment does not have to belong to a specific place.
This can be beneficial if you are unsure where the equipment is, or if it is, for example, being lent to someone.
Lend equipment to a person
If the equipment is loaned to a person, you have the opportunity to work with the main responsible and user of the equipment, without having to assign them a place.
To select No place: click on Current place and select "No place".
This can be done both when new equipment is created, in the item card for existing equipment and from the item list.
